If you’ve watched “Jeopardy” and thought you could do as well as some of the contestants, now’s your chance to prove it…and help ACLO at the same time. On Saturday, April 26th ACLO will present The Alameda Trivia Challenge at the Elks Lodge on Santa Clara Avenue. Thirty teams of three people each will be onstage, competing to be named “Alameda Trivia Challenge Champions.” Among the long list of challenge topics will be politics, movies, television, sports, history and, of course, Broadway trivia.

The teams will be made up of individuals, organizations and businesses. Residents and trivia fans can come to cheer on their favorite team or watch the fun while enjoying dinner and dessert. No formal wear at this event. It’s a casual night to have some fun for this hometown competition.You can be part of the fun and help ACLO by participating in a number of ways:

1. Form or sponsor a team of three for $330 which includes 3 dinner tickets for players.
2. Donate a prize for the event.
3. Come watch the fun. Tickets are $35 and include dinner.
4. Volunteer at the event.

The evening begins with dinner at 6 p.m. followed by a raffle drawing at 7:00 p.m. and the Trivia Challenge at 7:30 p.m. To sponsor a team, donate a prize, purchase tickets or volunteer please call Denise Shelton at the ACLO Box Office at (510) 864-2256.
